Mexican History - Cinco de Mayo

The Mexican holiday, Cinco de Mayo (The 5th of May), is a day in which the victory of the Mexican army over the French in the battle of Puebla (*1862). Florida, the Sunshine State, has a long and turbulent history; before Walt Disney turned Orlando into a tourist's dream town, the area was wrought with strife, and throughout multiple colonizations and wars, the Seminole Tribe of Florida has been involved. They are an integral part of Florida's history, despite not having settled in the area until after the first Europeans did.
